Q One way to engage out-group members is to empower them. Describe what empowering means to you. How do you see your own competencies in the area of empowerment? What keeps you from empowering others? Explain.
The term empowering means to give power roughly for organizational leadership perspectives, it can be stated that empowering does not always mean to give a title so that one can feel empowered. In organizational points of views, empowering is to give them responsibilities. It is true that a position does not come free of cost; it comes with lots of new responsibilities and rules. Therefore, if I am empowering someone, it means that I am keeping my faith in him or her. Therefore, it is their responsibility to prove that my decision was right to empower her. The empowered person must have the ability to deal with all the complexities that come to them along with the power.
